1. Liturgical Ministries The entire community comes together for Sunday Eucharist. Parishioners are active as lectors, servers, ushers, sacristans, money counters, Eucharistic ministers, servers, and in music ministry. The faith community seeks to use the talents of its members to enliven and personalize the worship. All members are encouraged to share their gifts of time, talent, and treasure. Please prayerfully consider how you may use your gifts and talents in the various parish ministries.
2. Children’s Liturgy of the Word From October to March, children between the ages of 4 to 7-8, are invited to take part in the Children’s Liturgy of the Word. After the opening prayer, they are called forward by the presider and with a blessing, they are led by a team of catechists to explore that Sunday Gospel, in a language that is appropriate for them to understand. They will participate in crafts, projects, songs, etc.. that relate to that Gospel. At the Liturgy of the Word, they will rejoin the community at the Presentation of the Gifts by bringing their own petitions to offer in a collection basket. *All other children in the congregation are invited to bring gift their own gifts to the altar at the same time. If you are a teen and would like to help lead please contact Rhonda in Faith Formation at firstname.lastname@example.org at St. Martin or Toni in Faith Formation at Seven Dolors email@example.com.
