We're Glad you asked... Scrip is a Fundraising opportunity to the school, that doesn't cost you anything more than your normal spending!
Families across America are using scrip every day to raise money for their organizations. Scrip is a win-win, both for scrip users and toward the school. It's money you would normally spend- that you don't have to go out of your way or your budget to use...for gas, groceries, staple items, and items in your monthly budget can also be bought using SCRIP.
HOW DOES IT WORK? SCRIP is a gift card purchased at the school or with one of the school children, in everyday categories that include groceries, gas, restaurants, clothing stores and so many more. A percentage of each gift card purchased goes directly to the HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL ! This fundraising is easy and convenient. What's better, there are multiple locations in which you and the school can benefit. Look through the available options- they also make great GIFTS!!!
The Gourmet coffee and is always fresh. Coffee is directly purchased from a group of farmers in San Miguel Escobar, Guatemala near Antigua. In the past we traveled to this region and helped the farmers with their harvesting and picking the coffee fruit side by side with the farmers. This truly is a blessed effort fulfilling our call to Social Justice as we pay them above fair trade standards.
The Arabica coffee is well known in the coffee industry as being of the highest quality. The coffee is roasted in small batches and only upon order to provide the freshest coffee available, to provide a fresh cup of coffee for your family or your friends, send us your order.
COFFEE IS: Medium Roast Dark Roast French Roast * Available in Whole or Ground Bean

WHERE TO GET IT: M-F (during school hours) available at the Holy Family School through the SCRIP PROGRAM
The coffee is grown in the mountains of Guatemala using a variety of organic techniques. It is processed in small batches in the homes of small farmers. St. Cloud diocesan priest, Fr. Mark Innocenti trades directly with the farmer, making cash payments with no middlemen to make sure the farmers are adequately compensated. In fact, we exceed fair trade standards in our transactions.
Purchasing this coffee directly supports the farmers in Guatemala & students at Holy Family School. The program offers students Scrip credit earned via families or parishioners who buy it and designate their coffee purchase to a certain family or student for his or her tuition. This tuition assistance help families send their children to the HFS Catholic School and its 100% NON PROFIT!
